Being a VA Means Having Flexibility!

April 3, 2014 by Sandra Sims

When you are a Virtual Assistant business owner you have the flexibility to adjust your schedule to take time off when you need too or just want too. This is why I love being a Virtual Assistant!

I totally like being able to make out my own work schedule and not be employed by someone else that doesn’t allow the flexibility to be there. There are those moments that you just need to take some time out to go and take your parent for that eye doctor’s appointment where they are having those dilating drops put in their eyes that make it so you cannot see.

Being able to help out your parents in their time of need when they have done so much for you all of their lives. Or you want to take time off because your child has something at school, special program, sports, maybe taking time out to go with your child on a class field trip to the Nature Museum or whatever. Those are priceless moments that you want to share with your children and remember forever!

Do What You Love written on brick wall with heart on it

Being a business owner can be real challenging and boy do I know it, but being a VA is totally worth it! It’s so nice to know I have that flexibility to set up my business for those moments to have the flexibility to be available for my parents and other family members with a fantastic career that I love being able to help other business owners to also have flexibility as well! Or you can call it having balance between work and family!

When you are employed by a large corporation it is a lot harder to schedule time off and be that flexible so for this very reason I would not go back to what I call “the commuting working world.” Plus a number of other things LOL that I won’t discuss.

So this is just a couple of reasons why you may think about becoming a Virtual Assistant or hiring one if you are a Virtual Assistant that has “become so busy” that it is taking time away from your family and or clients. And you are feeling so overwhelmed trying to do it all alone. Trying to reach a work-life-family balance?

I would be happy to answer more questions if you are interested in more information!
